About This Game Rain...the eternal, never-ending rain.In Piova, the city of music and endless rain, young men and women gather to pursue their dreams of becoming musicians. Chris Vertin is one of these young men, leaving his rural hometown and girlfriend behind to enroll in the Piova Communal School of Music.Winter has come and it's been over two years since Chris began studying to become a Fortenist—a master of the magical instrument known as the Fortelle. Graduation is only a few months away, and Chris must perform an original song together with a vocal partner for his final examination. But Chris, feeling unmotivated and listlessly spending his days, has yet to even try to find a partner. His entire world consists of letters he receives from his girlfriend and a 14 centimeter tall musical fairy living in his room.Let us play the Fortelle in time with the metronome of the rain's patter. When the sound of Chris's playing harmonizes with the voice of the musical magic fairy who knows what might happen?FEATURESA poignant drama set in the city of endless rain written by Maoto NishikawaMultiple endings depending on your choices and performance in the musical sectionsRemastered HD artwork by original character designer/artist SiroFleeting, beautiful melodies by singer and songwriter Ritsuko OkazakiHarmonious fusion of Visual Novel and Music-based gameplayVOICE ACTING CREDITSChris Velding (CV: Michio Miyashita)Arietta Fine (CV: Mai Nakahara)Tortinita Fine (CV: Mai Nakahara)Phorni (CV: Hiroko Kasahara)Falsita Fawcett (CV: Masumi Asano)Liselsia Cesarini (CV: Tomiko Orikasa) 7aa9394dea Title: Symphonic RainGenre: AdventureDeveloper:KOGADO STUDIOPublisher:DegicaRelease Date: 14 Jun, 2017 Symphonic Rain Full Crack [Xforce] symphonic rain android. siphonic rainwater system. symphonic metal rain. symphonic rain soundtrack. symphonic rain gameplay. symphonic rain vocal album rainbow. symphonic rain digital picture collection. symphonic rain reddit. symphonic rain tv tropes. symphonic rain ost. symphonic rain lyrics. symphonic rain mega. symphonic rain lyceenne. symphonic rain anivisual. symphonic rain fay. symphonic rain vndb. symphonic rain game. symphonic rain español. symphonic rain ost download. symphonic rain apocalypse. symphonic rain phoenix. symphonic rain minigame. symphonic rain endings. symphonic rain water system. symphonic rain switch. symphonic rain cg. symphonic rain wiki. symphonic rain bgm. symphonic rain crack. symphonic rain hd. symphonic rain download. symphonic rain. symphonic rain visual novel. symphonic rain a duet for piano and cello. symphonic rain no text. symphonic rain rainbow. symphonic rain sora no mukou ni. symphonic rain walkthrough A good visual novel with extremely good music. I really love the music written by Ritsuko Okazaki.Phorni is CUTE. I got this vn and after doing 1 girls story I was like WORTH IT.The music the characters everything about this was amazing i'd recommend this to any fan of vns.. This is a bit strange for me to say... but I THINK I'm recommending this visual novel. The reason I'm so unsure is because it has a LOT of flaws, some of which I would say probably doesn't make it worth the slog of playing it, but having persevered all the way through to the end, I did experience some things that I really enjoyed. But does it balance out? I'll try to find that answer now.Symphonic Rain's premise is right up my street; the story plays out in a music school as the protagonist is attempting to graduate, working towards a musical ensemble between the player and the heroine of your choosing. I also really like how all of the background visuals have a hand drawn look to them - it's a refreshing change from stock photo style pictures of schools and the like you see in a lot of VNs. The way the character sprites blink their eyes also adds something - it's a small animation but it brings the characters to life more. The game's themes on that basis are fantastic, and I was really looking forward to playing the game. However, from the first playthrough, of which I did many, as I wanted to experience all possible endings, it became apparent that there were some rough edges to the game, and with each route I took, the flaws got more and more major to the point where I wasn't really enjoying myself - the only thing that pushed me through in the end was to find out what the truth behind the plot really was, feeling a bit like a morbid curiosity considering I was struggling to stay entertained at times. I'll break down exactly what bothered me.Firstly, the game features minigames in which you use your keyboard to perform songs in a live setting, but unfortunately, they really didn't make enough of a distinction between 'easy' and 'normal' modes of difficulty, and even then, my game seemed to bug because I set it to 'easy' difficulty, but regardless, the game presented all the minigames to me in 'normal' difficulty, which I struggled to keep up with. Which may be my fault, fair enough, but when I'm trying to put it down to 'easy' difficulty and it's bugged to stick on 'normal' throughout EVERY playthrough no matter how many times I try to change it... it♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥me off. I had to use the game's 'autoplay' option which means the game plays it for you, giving you a 100% pass rate every time. Which is good, because without that feature, I wouldn't have been able to play the VN at all, but at the same time... I kind of bought it because I wanted that interactivity. Loads of players have reported other bugs too, so it seems it's a bit of a buggy game in general. The second group of things that bothered me was that sometimes, the facial expressions of the characters really didn't match what was happening at the time. I had people looking happy when we were having a horrible conversation, and other people angry when we were laughing. Also, there were a few grammatical errors in places, where either a sentence would have a completely wrong word, or there should have been a question mark and there wasn't. This game also uses way too many commas where they're not needed, but that's a little pet peeve really. The third thing that annoyed me after a while was the soundtrack; I understand that each character in this VN has a song that's associated with them, and an instrumental version of it plays in the background when you interact with them - that's a nice device that brings about familiarity. But my god, they needed to mix it up a bit. I got totally sick of hearing the same damn song over and over again throughout every little thing we did - they really should have had more common everyday tracks to intersperse with the character songs, and perhaps only play the character songs at emotional or important moments. There are some tracks I pretty much never want to hear again.Second biggest problem for me: there's a character that's been written so badly, it really ruined her whole arc for me. I won't give details as I want you to go into playing the game with an unspoilt view, but one of the girls was my absolute favourite character, but by the end of her arc, I was just dumbfounded that the writers had actually been satisfied with the twist and ensuing results. It would have been fine if they'd allowed her to reveal her secret and then given a scenario where she broke down and felt genuine remorse for everything and the player could then give her another chance and she could change her ways, and things could work out for the better. I would have enjoyed that and still considered her my favourite, but they wrote it so badly that I was just left♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥off and robbed of my favourite heroine. And here's the biggest annoyance for me. I understand that visual novels often tell an emotional story which can take a long time to get through. Trust me, I've played Clannad and got every single achievement - I know the ropes when it comes to replaying and the lengthy journeys you go on while playing these games. It's part of what's best about good visual novels. Symphonic Rain has got so much of that wrong. I cannot tell you how long winded a lot of the conversation is in this game, and if it had been because it was exploring feelings and things that needed to be explored, that would have been fine, but most of the time, it was just pointless banter, and on the other hand, the parts of the story that really needed to have gone into a lot of detail were really abrupt and lacking - I found myself going through endless boring text of dumb conversations about pointless things, and yet when the protagonist was considering his feelings about a person or trying to come to terms with something absolutely MASSIVE to do with the secret reality behind the whole plot, there was barely anything. He just kind of accepted things or declared feelings without really thinking about them, and it made the story a bit unbelievable, especially with the moment he realised an earth shattering revelation - the way it was depicted was unrealistic. There's no way he would have just gone 'oh, okay' like it was shown. He would have had so many more questions to ask, needed much more time to come to terms with the truth and figure out what he was going to do about it. The excessive text wasted on pointless conversations really could have done with being used for moments like that instead, and the way it plays out as it stands takes away from the emotional intensity of the end result.Phew... I said a lot. I still stand by all of it. But is there a positive side? Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have clicked the recommend button. I really wasn't sure about recommending it, but at the last moment, I decided I would, because there's one thing Symphonic Rain has going for it; its plot is fantastic. When you strip it down to the bare bones of the story itself, it's a wonderful, emotional and darkly secretive story that has great twists and leads up to an aptly named Grand Ending - very touching, and you do really get attached to all the characters genuinely. I'd been so annoyed at all the flaws, but once I'd completed it, I felt a sense of contentment that I'd seen it through and finally achieved what was right by the main characters. That Grand Ending was just what I'd been hoping for. So should you play it? You might not find it worth it personally, but for the story alone, I urge you to look past the flaws and enjoy this surprising tale. Wait until it's on sale and give it a go - if you can ignore the imperfections, you might just love this story.. Good story. Great music.. Finding this novel was pure luck. I actually just bought it on a whim (and gifted it to a friend) without even looking into it in further detail (unlike what I usually do when buying a game with my money), just for something during the summer. I didn't even know there was a minigame feature in the novel. That was how oblivious I was. My random decision paid off. And now I have a slight temptation to drop a good number of my other visual novels now, because it was just that good! Now my standards are too high...At this rate, it looks like the only way I'll feel satisfied is to make my own visual novel. Which will probably take forever, or never come up at all.As a visual novel about music, it does very well. There's a lot of symbolism that ties strongly with the story, and among those are the songs. When you know what exactly are the lyrics to the songs, it really changes how you take it in. It's almost like a spoiler, to put in a vague way. But in a good sense. If I had to name a con... there really isn't anything at all. No, it's not because I'm too sleep deficient to remember, but I really enjoyed it all the way though. Some people said that they may be put off from trying it because of the art style, but I really don't see why... Really, what even is there that is sexually suggestive? Youth? So yeah. Go in completely blind. Or as blind as possible. Absolutely worthwhile, and, as of what I could put up with reading, this easily sits at the top 3 of my list, next to Clannad and Steins;Gate. Anyone willing to change my mind? I'm all ears...(I've actually have made an arrangement of the opening for Symphonic Rain, and am in the process of making another right now, as of the time this review is up! I really should practice; it'd be a shame if I can't even play the very things I compose...). Everything did not turn out like I expected.. Strongly recommended. Very good piece of melancholic and depressing visual novel. As a music-themed story, the music pieces are definitely superb, although there actually isn't any "symphonies" inside this game lol. (Most of the pieces are closer to "J-Pop" genre...) The stories themselves are also well-written, with very surprising and thought-provoking (and dark...) plot twists, especially in the "al fine" route (which will be unlocked once all three heroine's good endings are reached). Oh the "good" endings in this VN are all pretty sad...What I like most about this VN is that every character has his/her own desires and motivations. They're really human beings (or something like human beings) living around our protagonist, instead of plot devices designed to help him out. Many of their desires and motivations seem to contradict the actual well-being of our protagonist, but there's definitely no malice inside these desires (yes, in my opinion, this include everything in Falsita route), which makes the story pretty interesting to read and think about. As for the rhythm minigame, I personally don't think they're too bad. The pieces are good, and the difficulty setting is kind of flexible. Although there isn't any options to compensate input lag, FPS drops dramatically when playing the rhythm game, and some of the beatmaps aren't really well-designed.... EDIT2: For the love of god, if you get this game, PLEASE make it to the hidden endings, to say any more is to spoil it. It makes the game THAT much better!Okay... WHAT THE F**KTHE FEELS MANTHE FEELSWhoever wrote the script did a very good job of MAKING ME FEEL GODDAMN BADThe art's a a bit weird, but that's pretty easy to get past. The music in this is very high quality, probably one of the highlights of the game. I've finished two of the three characters' endings, and I haven't quite dove into the hidden ending yet, I've heard its ... different. The story is astonishingly good, however the endings are very VERY unexpected. Just.... Go play it. Go. Just do it <insert shia here>EDIT: OKAY WHAT THE ACTUAL F.... WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE THE "BAD ENDINGS" ARE BETTER THAN THE "GOOD" ONES?干tmd我的小心肝啊啊啊啊啊!受不了这种打击啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊
